The Games Village provides participants an exclusive venue to meet, socialise and enjoy the camaraderie for which the event is renowned.
The Games Village is located at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach. It is situated close to accommodation, shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars and the beach and central to sport venues. It is only 30 minutes drive from the Gold Coast Airport and a 60 minutes drive from the Brisbane Airport.
Venue & Directions
The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre is primely positioned on the corner of the Gold Coast Highway and T E Peters Drive. The Centre’s car park entrance at the northern end of the building is easily accessible from traffic lights and the main driveway. The main entrance is accessible from the roundabout off T E Peters Drive.

Check In Centre
The Check In Centre is located at the Games Village at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre in Broadbeach. At the Check In Centre you will collect your accreditation pass, lanyard, official handbook, sports bag and participant gift. This completes your registration process and is compulsory for all participants before you can play your sport.
You must present your accreditation pass each day at your sports venue and when accessing the Games Village each night.

A jam-packed nightly entertainment lineup is set to rock the Games Village.

Personalised engraved medal inserts
Personalised engraved medal inserts fit neatly in the back of placegetter medals and can be purchased for $10 each. Service is available during nightly entertainment at the Games Village.
Mermaid Trophy Centre have been servicing the Gold Coast region for over 30 years and are the event’s official medal engraver.
Merchandise
Participants can commemorate their participation by purchasing event merchandise. A huge range will be available online and onsite at the Games Village.
Games Information Booth
The Games Information Booth will be located at the Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium and the Games Village and will be staffed by knowledgeable and friendly event volunteers to help answer your questions. Information about the Games Village, sports, nightly entertainment, transport, games services, tourist tips and results will be available.
Parking
The Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre’s car park entrance is at the northern end of the building, accessible from traffic lights off the Gold Coast Highway and the main driveway off TE Peters Drive.
Undercover car spaces are available for short-term parking. A $12 inclusive of GST flat rate is charged for car parking at the centre.

Food & Beverages
The Games Village is a licensed venue featuring a selection of food and beverage outlets. Due to liquor licensing provisions, persons under the age of 18 are not permitted in the entertainment halls after 7:30pm each night. Alcohol cannot be brought onto the premises and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre adheres to Responsible Service of Alcohol procedures as per Australian legislation.
