Events
Cross-Country Olympic: Cross-country(XCO) cycling is the most common discipline of mountain biking. Cross-Country courses consist of a mix of rough forest paths and single track, smooth fire roads and even paths connecting other trails.
Gravity Enduro: Gravity Enduro (GE) is a mountain biking discipline in which riders complete multiple timed downhill sections with untimed uphill connecting sections, also referred to as liaison sections. The rider who completes all timed sections in the fastest combined time wins.

Venue
Nerang Mountain Bike Trails
Kilometres of new and upgraded mountain bike trails in the Nerang State Forest were developed ahead of the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games. The trails make up the first international standard mountain bike course located in South East Queensland. Diverse track styles, including fast flow trails and slow-speed steep and technical trails will challenge athletes.

- Age is determined as at Thursday 31 December 2020
- Minimum age for competition is 30 years

- 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+
Fees
Sport Fee: $75 per person, per event
Games Fee:
- Competitor: $125 | $145 standard fee (from 3 September, 2020)
Payment processing fee: 1.4% (incl GST)

Additional Mountain Bike Information
- 2020 National Season Guidelines for each of the disciplines are displayed on the MTBA website.
- Those participating in Gravity Enduro will require a full-faced helmet.
- Entry fee includes Mountain Bike Australia Personal Accident & Public Liability insurance during official PPMG scheduled competition and practice. For more information: www.mtba.org.au/membership/insurance/
- Participants do not need to hold an MTBA Membership to participate in this event.
